TWR's Running Project IX for Middle and High School Girls
While Title IX legislation was enacted more than 50 years ago, we still see lower participation in sports, including high school cross country and track & field, for girls than for boys. This TWR Athletics Club summer program seeks to make progress toward fulfilling the promise of the Title IX legislation by creating an opportunity for girls and young women in middle and high school to explore and learn about the history of Title IX, important health and nutrition issues for the female athlete, the training methods of successful female runners, and how to have fun training during the summer!

Middle School Winter Running
A continuation of our Fall Middle School Cross Country Program. In the winter program, we'll continue to learn about distance running while bringing in some track and field elements to get ready for the spring and summer outdoor track seasons. Learn more here.

Distance Running
High schoolers and beyond join us for a variety of road running, cross country, and track and field events. This is an informal group, hopping into competitive events as opportunity presents.
We are also happy to work with individual athletes or small groups of athletes who might be interested in distance training for an upcoming high school season.
